Transparency and Multi-Facility Flexibility thanks ti the Computerized Platform

Campus Bio-Medico of Rome currently operates on two sites, the southern and eastern parts of Rome.

At both sites, there is an oncology treatment day hospital for the administration of oncology treatments. The complete implementation of the hospital information system MEDarchiver, natively integrated with the OMM modules, enables the transparent management of the patients who alternate between the two sites, not only with respect to the administration of infusions, but also the instrumental diagnostic activities and follow-up, making the complete clinical data available to the entire staff.

Similarly, the planning, prescription, preparation and administration of the oncology treatments take place on both sites, permitting the real-time tracking of the status of the patients undergoing infusion therapy and if necessary, transferring requests for preparations from one pharmacy to the other.

In addition, the facility has adopted the CytoCare system for the automated preparation of cytostatic medications, which integrates with the pharmacy’s CytoPlan management system.
